Karate Coin by Ed Ripley
A half dollar coin is clearly shown to the audience and can even be passed out for examination. The magician then holds the coin in plain view at the fingertips of his left hand. After a few practice tosses the magician throws the coin into the air and with his right forefinger he pierces the coin in mid-air!
After a few moments to "recover from the pain"
he displays the pierced coin on all sides and then removes it from his finger
for examination.

The Kundalini Rising, from a spectator's point of view: The deck is new, the seal unbroken. He bids me open the pack and shuffle the cards. Now cut. I keep half and surrender the remainder to him. From my cards I select one (the five of clubs), unknown to him. "Press the card to your forehead, imprint it in your mind" he tells me. He then collects all the cards, mine included and replaces them in the pack. He gives me the deck, then steps back, out of reach. I hold the pack in my right hand at arm's length. He asks me to relax, and draw deep breaths while picturing my card. Relaxed now, at his request I hold the breaths briefly, then blow the air out through the deck in my hand. Once, twice, three times. With the third breath, a card rises mysteriously, majestically, from the deck, as if pulled by unseen hands. It is the five of clubs! It is magic. Jeff McBride is widely known in the magic community for his ability to take an effect and create a handling which is so simple and clean that it appears to the audience as real magic. Coin-Yo from Chazpro (COINYO)

a great Yo-yo idea and magic trick! Show two half dollars and stuff them into
your fist one at a time, then stuff in a length of string. When your fist
is opened, the string has magically coiled itself between the two coins! You
really floor your spectators when you yo-yo the coins!

The magician brings a peculiar - looking cutting instrument on the stage.
Explaining that he should test the courage of his spectators, he invites the
most courageous person. Whoever comes, the magician request him to put his
right hand through the hole in the Dissecto.
You press down the blade slowly and feels hurt. Ask him to remove the hand.
Put a vegetable like a cucumber in the hole and press down the bled. The cucumber
cuts in to two neatly. Now asks the spectator to put his hand again. Magician
keeps his hand and slowly the blades goes down.
He shows his unharmed hand to the spectator.

Sobriety Test by Paul Green (FIELDSOBR)
Based on an old science demonstration used to illustrate Lenz's Law, this
routine has some great laughs built in to make it a memorable piece direct
from Paul Green's professional repertoire.
The magician shows the latest apparatus used by the Highway Patrol to determine sobriety and reaction times. The spectator has problems, but when the magician is tested, he has incredible results.
A long length of copper pipe is shown along with a small ball bearing. The spectator is asked to drop the bearing through the tube and catch it as it drops out the opposite side. Gravity and the reaction time of the spectator cause the spectator to have a difficult time. When the magician tries, the bearing seems to be stuck in a "time warp" allowing the magician more than enough time to catch the falling ball bearing.
The
ball really seems to be falling in slow motion....you have to see it to believe
it!
