The performer shows a silver half dollar in his left hand, and a copper English
penny in his right hand. He then closes both of his hands. When he opens them,
there is only a silver half dollar remaining! The English penny has completely
vanished!!
Needle
Through Balloon by Empire Magic
The magician displays a large (18-inches long) needle with ribbon and a transparent
balloon. A spectator is asked to inflate the balloon while the magician cleans
the needle with a cloth. The performer then proceeds to thrust the needle, and
the ribbon, completely through the balloon-without popping it! The balloon is
then tossed into the air and popped with the needle.

The magician spreads a deck of cards between his hands
and has the spectator select a card. The spectator then signs their name across
the face of the card and the magician sticks it back into the middle of the
deck. The magician then proudly proclaims that the freely selected, signed card
will vanish from the deck and reappear inside the card box. But wait, there's
one small problem, the card box is nowhere to be found. Not a problem for the
performer, as he causes the card box to materialize from within the cards in
his hands. Believe it or not, the box actually appears to grow from within the
deck. The box is removed from the cards and opened to reveal the spectator's
freely selected and signed card... within.
You'll love watching this in front of a mirror as much as you will performing
it
for your audiences. Their jaws drop when the box actually seems to
materialize in your hands. "From Within" just may become a permanent

It is a torn and restored card routine which is very practical and easy but
REALLY HITS HARD!!!.
EFFECT :The magician takes a deck of cards, lets the spectator pick a card and
gives it to the magician; and they can even sign it if they want . The magician
then takes the card, rips it into 4 pieces and slowly, one by one, the cards
morph back into place as they started out even before they were ripped. At the
end of the routine, the dents are visually ironed out and, in the spectators
hands, is their signed/unsigned card perfectly normal.
It has been reviewed by professional magicians and, believe it or not, they
say its as good as torn and restored routines can get. It is a booklet with
30+ pictures FULLY describing what has to be done and with different angles.
This is definitely one of the BEST Torn and Restored routine/effect out there.

The Mexican Revolution
with Gordon Bean's Jaywalk
Whether in
his native country or during his many engagements at Caesar's Magical Empire
in Las Vegas or at the Magic Castle in Los Angeles, Fenik has long been perplexing
some of magic's top names with his Mexican Revolution routine.
The effect is straightforward and eye-poppingly visual: four jacks turn face
down one at a time, then turn back face up, and finally have their backs change
from blue to red. Its highly ingenious method reduces sleights to an absolute
minimum, but it's so much fun to watch you'll want to stay in front of the mirror
doing it again and again!
With the U.S. Playing Card Co. having done a brilliant job of producing the
necessary cards, The Mexican Revolution was first released by Gordon Bean and
Larry Horowitz's company MagicLab at the Magic Castle swap meet in the spring
of 2002, and instantly proved to be a big hit. Fenik then came up with a brilliant
streamlining of his original handing that, in turn, led Gordon to come up with
Jaywalk, which turned the effect of the original inside out. This time, after
turning face up then face down, the cards change from jokers to jacks!
Considering that Jaywalk was the quintessential dealer's ad boasting three distinct
phases of visual magic, no sleights required, only four cards used, fronts and
backs of all cards in view, no glue, no wax, no double cards-the decision was
made to put The Mexican Revolution on hold after its one day of release and
wait for the necessary new cards to be printed.
So now, for the same price, you get both The Mexican Revolution and Jaywalk
plus a whole new world of experimentation. After this revolution, twisting effects

Temptation

Of the hundreds of people on whom Gordon Bean field-tested his new effect, Temptation,
a particularly notable spectator was one Greg Simko, C.E.O. of the U.S. Playing
Card Co. One evening, Mr. Simko was at The Magic Castle to discuss a custom
deck being made for the film Shade, and when asked to perform an effect for
him, Gordon brought out the Ace, Two and Three of Spades.
The routine's first phase sent the Three visibly from Gordon's right hand to
his left hand, and Mr. Simko smiled. He had seen a lot of amazing sleight-of-hand
and assumed this was more of the same. Next, the Ace jumped the other way, and
Mr. Simko leaned forward. Finally, the Two jumped down to his own hand and Mr.
Simko knew the only possible explanation. "You're using some of those special
cards we printed for you." Gordon smiled and motioned for him to pick up
the cards. Mr. Simko examined them with an expert's precision. "But they
are ordinary Bicycles," said Mr. Simko. "The finest cards made,"
agreed Gordon with a smile. I wouldn't use anything else."
